Engine Component - Forced Induction

Forced Induction inspector.

Simulates turbocharger and supercharger systems integrated into the EngineComponent.

Key Features

  • Turbocharger: Exhaust-driven with spool lag and wastegate behavior
  • Supercharger: Mechanically-driven with instant RPM-based boost
  • Power Multiplier: At full boost with Power Gain Multiplier of 1.5, a 100kW engine produces 150kW
  • Sound Integration: Boost level drives ForcedInductionComponent (whine) and TurboFlutterComponent (flutter/wastegate)

Set Power Gain Multiplier to 1.0 for sound-only effects without power increase.
