    Classes

    AirBrakeComponent

Sound of air releasing from pneumatic brake systems found on trucks and buses. Plays a hissing sound when brakes are released, simulating air brake systems. Only triggers when the engine is running. Supports multiple audio clips with random selection for variation.

    BlinkerComponent

Rhythmic clicking sound of turn signal indicators. Plays distinct sounds for blinker on and off states, synchronized with the blinking lights. Requires two audio clips: first for the 'on' click, second for the 'off' click. Automatically triggered by left or right blinker light sources in the Lights Manager.

    CrashComponent

Impact sound played when the vehicle collides with objects. Volume scales dynamically based on collision velocity magnitude. Sound is played at the collision contact point for spatial accuracy. Supports multiple audio clips with random selection for variation.

    EngineFanComponent

Simulates cooling fan or air induction noise that varies with engine RPM. Volume increases quadratically with RPM to simulate fan speed, while pitch increases linearly. Commonly used for commercial vehicles, off-road vehicles with clutch-driven fans, or to add air intake/induction noise to the engine sound.

    EngineRunningComponent

Granular engine audio synthesis using AudioMixer. Crossfades multiple RPM samples and controls mixer effects (lowpass, distortion, reverb).

    EngineRunningComponent.EngineSample

Single RPM sample with associated AudioSource.

    EngineStartStopComponent

Plays engine starter and shutdown sounds. The first audio clip (index 0) plays during engine startup with dynamic pitch based on cranking RPM. The second audio clip (index 1) plays when the engine is turned off (optional). Automatically triggered by engine start/stop events.

    ExhaustPopComponent

Exhaust popping and backfire sound. Triggered during deceleration, gear shifts, or when hitting rev limiter.

    ForcedInductionComponent

Turbocharger or supercharger whine sound. Volume and pitch scale with boost level. Includes spool-up/down inertia.

    GearChangeComponent

Sound played when the transmission shifts between gears. Plays mechanical shifter sounds triggered by transmission gear changes. Does not play when shifting to or from neutral (gear 0). Supports multiple audio clips with random selection for variation.

    HornComponent

Looping sound played when the vehicle horn is activated. Continuously plays while the horn input is active and stops immediately when released. Ideal for both short beeps and sustained horn honks.

    ReverseBeepComponent

Repeating beep warning sound played when vehicle is reversing. Commonly heard on trucks, buses, and construction vehicles. Beeps once per second when active. Can be triggered by reverse gear engagement or backward movement regardless of gear.

    SoundComponent

Abstract base class for all vehicle sound components, providing standardized audio management with support for multiple audio sources, clips, and advanced audio processing.

    SuspensionBumpComponent

Impact sound played when a wheel makes contact with the ground or obstacles. Triggered when wheels transition from airborne to grounded state. Volume scales with the wheel load relative to its load rating. Common during jumps, drops, or hitting bumps. Includes a 2-second startup delay to prevent false triggers when the vehicle spawns.

    TransmissionWhineComponent

Straight-cut gearbox whine sound. Pitch follows RPM, volume follows load.

    TurboFlutterComponent

Turbo flutter and wastegate release sound. Triggered when wastegate opens.

    WheelSkidComponent

Sound of tires skidding and sliding across surfaces. Plays when wheels experience lateral or longitudinal slip beyond the skid threshold. Volume increases with slip amount and vehicle speed. Audio clips and settings are defined per-surface in SurfacePresets, allowing different skid sounds for asphalt, gravel, dirt, etc. Automatically switches clips when the dominant surface changes.

    WheelTireNoiseComponent

Continuous rolling noise produced by tires in contact with the surface. Plays while wheels are grounded and rolling, with volume and pitch scaling based on vehicle speed. Can optionally respond to slip amount for surfaces where tire noise increases with sliding. Audio clips and settings are defined per-surface in SurfacePresets, allowing different sounds for various terrain types. Automatically switches clips when the dominant surface changes.

    Enums

    ExhaustPopComponent.PopSource

Defines the trigger source for exhaust pop sounds.
