    Arcade Module

    ArcadeModule inspector.

Module providing arcade-style driving assists to enhance vehicle handling. Contains multiple assist systems that can be tuned independently for different gameplay experiences.

All assists work by applying additional forces and torques to the vehicle's Rigidbody, supplementing the physical tire simulation to create arcade-like handling characteristics.

    Artificial Steer

Adds steering torque directly to the Rigidbody, independent of tire grip. Helps the vehicle turn regardless of grip conditions and works both on ground and in air.

    Property Description
Artificial Steer Strength Multiplier for the artificial steering torque. Range 0-10, typically 0-2. Higher values provide stronger arcade-style turning

    Drift Assist

Maintains controlled drifts by applying corrective forces when the drift angle exceeds the target. Prevents spin-outs and helps hold desired drift angles.

    Property Description
Drift Assist Strength Overall strength multiplier for the drift assist system. Range 0-2
Target Drift Angle The drift angle (in degrees) the system tries to maintain. No assistance is applied below this angle. Range 15-60 degrees, typically 30-45
Steer Angle Contribution Additional drift angle in degrees added based on steering input, allowing dynamic drift angle adjustment. Range 0-30 degrees
Throttle Angle Contribution Extra drift angle allowed when on throttle, enabling throttle-controlled drifts
Max Drift Assist Force Maximum lateral force in Newtons applied to the rear axle for drift control. Typical values: 500-1000N for light vehicles, 800-1500N for standard cars, 1500-3000N for heavy vehicles

    Counter-Steer Assist

Rewards proper counter-steering technique by reducing assist intervention and adding stability when the player steers opposite to the drift direction.

    Property Description
Counter Steer Reward Assist reduction when counter-steering correctly. 1.0 = full player control. Range 0-1
Counter Steer Stability Stability bonus when counter-steering, adding extra drift angle tolerance

    Spin-Out Prevention

Angular velocity damping that activates when yaw rate exceeds the threshold, preventing uncontrollable spins during high-angle drifts.

    Property Description
Spin Out Prevention Damping strength. Higher values make spin-outs less likely. Range 0-2
Max Yaw Rate Yaw rate threshold in deg/s before damping activates. Typical value: 70 deg/s
