This is a simple demonstration of the upcoming OpenCV asset based on modified OpenCvSharp wrapper and vanilla OpenCV C++ library. It currently works on following platforms: Windows, Linux, Max OS X, Android and iOS.
In the video robot is using RenderTexture from robot’s camera placed on the arm in the front to take images which are then converted via one of included conversion functions into Mat, which is then in turn analyzed using standard OpenCvSharp syntax. Result is displayed in bottom right corner by converting Mat to Texture2D, and from the result data robot is controlled by simple commands such as GoForward() and SteerLeft().
There is still a lot of testing to do and so the asset will be available in about one month.
